In our pursuit to constantly offer the best possible football path for our players at our academy, Derby Football Academy has signed a partnership deal with Spanish academy of Real Racing Club, also known as Racing Santander.
Racing Santander is a well-known Spanish club, that has appeared in 44 seasons in La Liga and will be competing in 2022-23 in the Segunda Division (Second Tier). Their academy has provided 4 players for the Under-20 Spanish national team, including Pablo Torre who moved to FC Barcelona.
This partnership will guarantee a try-out opportunity to the most distinguished of our talented players that are above 17 years old while also providing a parallel educational path in several top-quality Spanish universities. The younger categories will have the chance to participate in all holiday training camps with Real Racing Club.
This partnership will also provide many exchange programs for our coaches which will ensure the growth of our coaching’s staff knowledge in football coaching.
A number of our players will start their trainings with Racing Club Santander today, May 30th.
